Severn Estuary Partnership

About The Project
As part of a full brand refresh for The Severn Estuary Partnership | Partneriaeth Aber Hafren, I worked closely with the team to develop a new visual identity that felt more playful, approachable, and engaging while still maintaining a professional and credible presence. Backed by Cardiff University, the organisation wanted to better connect with volunteers, local communities, and partner organisations through a more modern and accessible visual communication style.
The project focused on transforming an outdated brand into a flexible identity system inspired by the natural landscape of the Severn Estuary itself. The new brand features a vibrant colour palette, a professional yet playful logo mark representing the estuary and the areas the partnership works to protect, alongside a collection of organic graphic shapes inspired by elements such as glasswort, Flat Holm, and Steep Holm. These adaptable visual elements can be used to frame imagery, fill negative space, and create a cohesive identity across both digital and print applications - resulting in a brand that feels welcoming, memorable, and built to grow with the organisation.
